June 2010:

I took a road-trip across the country this month and as a result I wasn’t able to take in many art exhibitions. Instead of a review I opted to try and expand some thoughts I had as the landscape of the United States rolled by the window of my rented Kia Spectra. The subject of the following essay was brought on by the recent closing of Copy Gallery, a space I have been involved with for the past three or so years, which held it’s last opening when I was somewhere in Nevada.
